Tyler Macklin
Tyler has been designing and operating Video Villages for professional film sets since 2009. His passion for technology combined with his sense of adventure and attention to detail ensures that when the camera is on, the crew can view the action. Whether in the studio, the back of a follow van, or atop a waterfall, Tyler will get the perfect signal to display the perfect shot.
Tyler achieved a degree in Journalism with a focus on Electronic Media from the University of Oregon and started working on commercials and feature films before he graduated. He quickly found himself working as a Graphics Playback Operator and transitioned to Video Assist and Qtake Operator after that.
His IMDB boasts an impressive amount of credits including Leverage (season 3, 4, and 5), Grimm (Season 1, 2, 3, and 4), and feature films The Water Man, Metal Lords, 65, Somebody I Used to Know, Little Wing, and Twinless. His latest project was completing the first season of “Criminal”, for which this company was founded.
Tyler is also a professional circus performer and tours the world regularly delighting audiences of all ages.
